Which came first, the chicken or the egg? I don't know, but if you ask me which came first, the guanxi or the market? I'm sure it was the guanxi, welcome to China

Some marketing tips:
1- China social networks like QQ, Weibo and WeChat are strong weapons, use it with you, or it might turn against you.

2- Chinese consumers are extremely price sensitive for non-branded products, and extremely price non-sensitive for branded products.

3- Don't mess up with politics like Google,

4- Make sure the country of your brand doesn't mess up with politics too, Toyota and Carrfour got taught the hard way.

5- China market is too large and segmented to be invaded from one area/province,

6- Drunk marketers are perceived as more trustworthy.

7- Working hours for marketers start from 6:00pm to 6:00am.

8- The biggest and most profitable market segment, after government projects, is the one for infants products.

9- Chinese have different appetite based on regions, one flavor or style can't satisfy all China. Diversify.

10- Many Chinese can't converse in English, Mandarin is essential.
